Procedures for temporary export of goods temporarily admitted

Step 2: Customs officers receive and check the customs dossiers specified in Clause 1 of this Article submitted and presented by the customs declarant.

– In case the result of the dossier examination is not suitable, refuse to carry out customs procedures according to regulations within 02 working hours from the time of dossier examination, clearly state the reason and notify VCCI in writing. At the same time, guide the customs declarant to carry out temporary export and re-import procedures according to the provisions of law.

– If the results of the document inspection are suitable, then conduct a physical inspection of the goods based on the application of risk management.

– In case of having to physically inspect the goods, if the physical inspection results are consistent with the records, then carry out the following work. If the physical inspection results are inconsistent with the records, then refuse to carry out customs procedures according to the ATA carnet and impose penalties for violations (if any).

Step 3: Customs officers record and confirm information on the ATA carnet according to the provisions in Appendix II issued with the Decree. 64/2020/ND-CP ;

Step 4: Customs officers supervise the actual export shipment;

Step 5: Customs officers update ATA carnet information into the Customs Electronic Data Processing System. In case there is no Customs Electronic Data Processing System, the customs authority shall keep a copy of the ATA carnet cover page and the yellow foil;

Step 6: Customs officer returns ATA carnet to customs declarant, keeps yellow export voucher (Exportation Voucher) excluding stub

– Temporary export license, document notifying specialized inspection results according to law: 01 original.

In cases where specialized laws stipulate the submission of copies or do not specifically stipulate the original or copies, customs declarants may submit copies;

– Confirmation document from competent authority on organization or participation in event: 01 copy.
