Procedures for Termination of a Customs Supervision Agent

– Decision No. 1752/QD-BTC dated September 3, 2019 of the Minister of Finance on declassifying part of the content of Decision No. 04/2018/QD-TTg dated June 26, 2018 of the Prime Minister .

1.1. Step 1: Enterprises wishing to terminate customs supervision agents submit documents to the General Department of Customs requesting termination of customs supervision agents.

1.2. Step 2: The General Department of Customs requests the Customs Department where the Customs Book is issued to supervise vehicles to inspect and monitor to liquidate all records of transport vehicles of Chinese enterprises entering the country but not yet leaving the country due to Agents. Supervise the implementation of outstanding supervision, report and propose the General Department of Customs to consider terminating the operation of Customs Supervision Agent.

1.3. Step 3: The General Department of Customs issues a Decision to terminate the Customs Supervision Agent within 05 days from the date of receiving the report from the Provincial or City Customs Department.

+ Valid warehouse and location recognition documents issued by a competent authority according to the provisions of Decree No. 68/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating business conditions Duty-free goods, warehouses, locations for customs procedures, gathering, inspection, customs supervision: submit 01 notarized or certified copy (in case the enterprise submits by post or submits 01 photocopy, present the original for comparison (in case of direct submission).

+ Customs supervision agent contract signed with a Chinese enterprise (if any): submit 01 notarized or certified copy (in case the enterprise submits by post) or submit 01 photocopy and present the copy for comparison (in case of direct submission).
