Among them, 9 businesses have completed their registration documents and submitted them to the General Department of Customs of China for review.

China's General Department of Customs has organized online inspections for 5 of these 9 businesses and has issued a note approving AVANEST Vietnam Nutrition Joint Stock Company to export two types of products: clean bird's nest and bird's nest. Ready-made bird's nest will arrive in this market from October 20, 2023.

For other businesses, the General Department of Customs of China is continuing to review and evaluate documents and will notify them once the results are satisfactory. It is expected that the ceremony to announce the export of the first batch of bird's nest products to China will take place in Lang Son on November 16, 2023.

This is the result of the guidance process of the authorities after the Protocol on quarantine, inspection and veterinary hygiene requirements for bird's nest products exported from Vietnam was signed by the General Department of Customs. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, currently the country has 42/63 provinces that raise bird nests. The number of bird's nest farms nationwide has increased significantly in recent years. The localities with the fastest increase in the number of bird's nest houses are Kien Giang, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong. The province with the largest number of bird's nest houses today is Kien Giang (2,995 bird's nest houses), followed by Binh Dinh (1,722 bird's nest houses).

Economic regions have 100%, the number of provinces raising bird's nest includes: Mekong Delta (13 provinces), Southeast (6 provinces), South Central (8 provinces) and Central Highlands (5 provinces) have 100%. Of these, the largest number is the Mekong Delta with 10,572 bird's nest houses, accounting for 44,67%; Next is the South Central region with 5,965 bird's nest houses, accounting for 25,21%.
