Pre-define code 2024
In case the customs declarant requests the customs authority to pre-determine the code for the goods expected to be exported or imported, the customs declarant Submit complete documents to request pre-determination of code to the General Department of Customs for at least 60 days before export or import of the shipment.
Predetermined profile code including:
a) Application for pre-determination of code according to form No. 01/XĐTMS/TXNK Appendix VI issued with Circular No. 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018 of the Ministry of Finance; (Be sure to completely fill out all information on the application.)
b) Technical documents provided by organizations or individuals requesting pre-determination of commodity codes (component analysis, catalog, goods images): 01 photocopy;
c) Samples of goods expected to be exported or imported (if any).
Customs authorities receive and process samples of goods expected to be exported or imported in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Circular No. 14/2015/TT-BTC dated January 30, 2015 of the Minister of Finance guiding Instructions on goods classification, analysis to classify goods, analysis to check quality, food safety check for exported and imported goods.
Note: The General Department of Customs will refuse to pre-determine codes in the following cases:
a) Do not meet the conditions and documents to pre-determine the code;
b) Goods mentioned in the application for pre-determination of codes awaiting processing results from state management agencies, including:
b.1) The goods mentioned in the application for pre-determination of codes belong to a case that has been notified by a competent state agency of being investigated, inspected or examined;
b.2) The goods mentioned in the application for pre-determination of codes have been received by the General Department of Customs and awaiting processing results.
c) Goods mentioned in the application predetermined code There has been written guidance on codes from state management agencies.
