Airlines transport more than 65.6 million tons of cargo each year, accounting for more than 35% of global trade by value but less than 1% of world trade by volume. That equates to $6.8 trillion worth of goods annually, or $18.6 billion worth of goods every day.

“IATA DG Document” sets standards that lead to safety
Some items may endanger the safety of the aircraft or its occupants, and these hazardous materials may be prohibited or restricted from air transport. IATA leads industry efforts to ensure the safe transport of dangerous goods by air. We offer a range of technical knowledge, products, services and training solutions, tailored to meet industry needs. The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) Manual is the global reference for the transport of dangerous goods by air and the only standard recognized by airlines.
