Invitation to attend the webinar "India's Regulations on the issuance of FSSAI Food Hygiene and Safety Certificates" on May 24, 2023

Continuing the plan to support Vietnamese businesses with information about the Indian market, on May 24, 2023, the Trade Office coordinated with the Indian Food Safety and Standards Authority to organize an online seminar with the topic "India's regulations on issuance of food hygiene and safety certificates".

India strictly regulates food hygiene and safety standards for domestic and imported food products, including regulations on quality standards, packaging, labeling, and requirements. Requires all imported food products to have a FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) food safety and hygiene standards certificate issued by an Indian competent authority, before being imported into India. . These are regulations that businesses must meet so that food products can penetrate the system of supermarkets and distribution channels in India.

The keynote speaker of the program is Mr. Amit Sharma, Head of International Cooperation, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. He will discuss laws and guiding documents on hygiene and safety in India, benefits of FSSAI certification, types of certificates, required documents for foreign manufacturers, and certification process. certification and provide recommendations and guidance so that Vietnamese companies can obtain FSSAI certification.
