Chapter 05: Products of animal origin, not elsewhere specified or included

Human hair, unprocessed, whether or not washed or bleached; hair scraps.

Hair and bristles of pigs or boars; bristles used for making brooms and other brushes; waste from pig hair.

Skins and other parts of birds and poultry, with feathers or down, feathers and parts of feathers (whether or not trimmed) and down, merely washed, disinfected or otherwise treated preserve; powder and waste of feathers or other parts of feathers.

Bones and horn cores, unworked, defatted, prepared (but not cut to shape), acid-treated or degelatinised; powder and scrap from the above products.

Ivory, tortoiseshell, whalebone and whalebone teeth, horns, antlers, hooves, nails, claws and beaks, unworked or simply prepared but not cut to shape; powder and scrap from the above products.

Coral and similar materials, unworked or simply prepared but not further worked; shells of molluscs, crustaceans or echinoderms and squid shells, unworked or simply prepared but not cut to shape, powder and waste thereof.

Ambergris, castoreum, musk (from civet and musk), aromatic substances from beetles; honey, whether or not dried; glands and other animal products used in the preparation of pharmaceutical products, fresh, chilled, frozen or otherwise temporarily preserved.

Other animal products not detailed or included elsewhere; dead animals falling within Chapter 1 or Chapter 3, unfit for human consumption.

Animal intestines, bladders and stomachs (other than fish), whole and pieces thereof, fresh, chilled, frozen, salted, in brine, dried or smoked.
