Ngày 19 tháng 12 năm 2018, Bộ trưởng Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn đã ký ban hành Công điện khẩn số 9863/CĐ-BNN-TY về việc ngăn chặn tình trạng nhập lậu, vận chuyển trái phép, buôn bán, tiêu thụ động vật, sản phẩm động vật nhập lậu từ nước ngoài vào Việt Nam.
