Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP)

The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) was signed on March 8, 2018 in Santiago, Chile.

CPTPP officially takes effect from December 30, 2018 for Mexico, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada and Australia. For Vietnam, the Agreement takes effect from January 14, 2019. The Agreement will take effect for Brunei, Chile, Malaysia and Peru 60 days after these countries complete procedures for ratifying the agreement.

After the agreement was completed on January 23, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan, the text of the Agreement went through the process of legal review, translation and authentication. The English, French and Spanish versions of the legally authenticated CPTPP text were published on February 21, 2018. Agreement text in English, French and Spanish Dentistry has the same value. In case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
