Export turnover in the first period of April decreased compared to the second period of March 2024 due to a decrease in many key product groups such as: computers, electronic products and components, down 954 million USD (corresponding to a decrease of 27,000 USD). 3%); Phones of all types and components decreased by 480 million USD (corresponding to a decrease of 19.3%); machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts decreased by 274 million USD (corresponding to a decrease of 13.7%); iron and steel of all kinds decreased by 189 million US dollars (equivalent to a decrease of 37.9%); Textiles and garments decreased by 145 million USD (equivalent to a decrease of 10.6%)...
However, from the beginning of the year to the end of April 15, Vietnam's total export turnover still grew high by 15.8% (equivalent to an increase of 14.73 billion USD) compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 107.82 billion USD. billion USD.
Notably, there are 3 product groups with turnover increasing by 1 billion USD or more. Leading the way were computers, electronic products and components, increasing by 4.83 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 34.4%). From the beginning of the year to April 15, this product group had the largest turnover in the country, reaching 18.87 billion USD.
Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts had the second largest increase in turnover with 1.18 billion USD (corresponding to an increase of 10.3%). By April 15, this product group reached a turnover of 12.63 billion USD.
Cameras, camcorders and components increased by 1.05 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 69.7%), this is the third billion-dollar growing product group in the country. Accumulated from the beginning of the year to April 15, this product group reached a turnover of 2.55 billion USD.
