List of goods banned from import 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Follow Appendix I, "List of goods banned from import" issued together<\/span>\u00a0Decree No. 69\/2018\/ND-CP<\/a>\u00a0dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

APPENDIX I\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>
\nLIST OF GOODS PROHIBITED FROM IMPORT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(Attach Decree No. 69\/2018\/ND-CP<\/a> May 15, 2018 of the Government)<\/span><\/p>\n

This category applies to operations import<\/a> commercial and non-commercial goods; importing goods in border areas; Government and non-Government aid goods.<\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/span><\/td>\nWeapons, ammunition, explosives (except industrial explosives), military technical equipment.<\/td>\nDepartment of Defense<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2<\/span><\/td>\nFireworks of all kinds (except marine safety flares according to instructions from the Ministry of Transport), sky lights, and devices that interfere with vehicle speedometers.<\/td>\nPolice<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3<\/span><\/td>\na) Schedule 1 chemicals are specified in the Convention prohibiting the development, production, storage, use and destruction of chemical weapons and the Appendix issued with Decree No. 38\/2014\/ND-CP dated June 6 May 2014 of the Government on the management of chemicals controlled by the Convention prohibiting the development, production, storage, use and destruction of chemical weapons.<\/p>\n

b) Chemicals on the List of banned chemicals specified in Appendix III issued with Decree No. 113\/2017\/ND-CP dated October 9, 2017 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of Article of Chemical Law.<\/td>\n

4<\/td>\nConsumer goods, medical equipment, and used vehicles, including the following product groups:<\/p>\n

a) Textiles, shoes, clothes.<\/p>\n

b) Electronic goods.<\/p>\n

c) Refrigeration goods.<\/p>\n

d) Household electrical goods.<\/p>\n

d) Medical equipment.<\/p>\n

e) Interior decoration goods.<\/p>\n

g) Household goods made of ceramic, porcelain, glass, metal, plastic, rubber, plastic and other materials.<\/p>\n

h) Bicycles.<\/p>\n

i) Motorcycles and mopeds.<\/td>\n

5<\/span><\/td>\nTypes of cultural products that are banned from dissemination, circulation or have had decisions to suspend dissemination, circulation, recall, confiscation, or destruction in Vietnam.<\/td>\nMinistry of Culture, Sports and Tourism<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6<\/td>\nGoods are used information technology products<\/td>\nMinistry of Information and Communications<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7<\/span><\/td>\na) Types of publications banned from dissemination and circulation in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

b) Postage stamps are banned from trading, exchange, display and propaganda according to the provisions of the Postal Law.<\/p>\n

c) Radio equipment and radio wave application equipment do not comply with radio frequency plans and relevant technical regulations according to the provisions of the Radio Frequency Law.<\/td>\n

8<\/span><\/td>\na) Right-hand drive vehicles (including disassembled forms and forms that have had their handlebars converted before being imported into Vietnam), except for specialized right-hand drive vehicles operating within the narrow and not participating in traffic including: cranes; canal digging machine; street sweeping and watering vehicles; Garbage and household waste trucks; road construction vehicles; Passenger vehicles in the airport; forklifts in warehouses and ports; concrete pump trucks; Vehicles can only move in golf courses and parks.b) Cars, four-wheeled vehicles with engines and assembled parts have their frame and engine numbers erased, edited, or re-engraved.<\/p>\n

c) Types of trailers and semi-trailers with erased, chiseled, or re-stamped frame numbers.<\/p>\n

d) Types of motorbikes, specialized motorbikes, and motorbikes that have had their frame and engine numbers erased, edited, or re-engraved.<\/td>\n

The transportation<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
9<\/td>\nUsed supplies and vehicles, including:<\/p>\n

a) Engines, frames, tubes, tires, spare parts, engines of cars, trailers, semi-trailers, and four-wheeled motor vehicles.<\/p>\n

b) Chassis of cars and tractors with engines (including new chassis with used engines, used chassis with new engines),<\/p>\n

c) Cars whose structure has been changed to convert functions compared to the original design.<\/p>\n

d) Used cars, trailers, semi-trailers (except specialized trailers and semi-trailers), four-wheeled passenger vehicles with motors that are older than 5 years, calculated from the year production to year of import.<\/p>\n

d) Ambulance car.<\/td>\n

b) Specimens and crafted products of species: white rhino (Ceratotherium simum), black rhino (Diceros bicomis), African elephant (Loxodonta africana).<\/td>\n
