On the afternoon of June 14, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong received Chairman of the National Assembly of C\u00f4te d'Ivoire Adama Bictogo, who is on an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. .<\/p>\n

Welcoming the Chairman of the Ivory Coast National Assembly and the Delegation to visit Vietnam, President Vo Van Thuong stated that the visit is the highest-level delegation and also the first National Assembly Chairman of the Ivory Coast to visit Vietnam, contributing to important in strengthening cooperative relations between the two Parliaments as well as the two countries.<\/p>\n

The Chairman of the Ivory Coast National Assembly expressed his pleasure to meet President Vo Van Thuong again, and said that Vietnam and Ivory Coast have had economic development cooperation with important results; highly appreciated Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements, especially hunger eradication and poverty reduction.<\/p>\n

National Assembly Chairman Adama Bictogo shared that Vietnam and Ivory Coast have many similarities in economic development. In the context of difficulties and challenges from global issues, the two countries need to strengthen coordination in the coming time, creating a safe, favorable and trustworthy business environment. Ivory Coast hopes to welcome Vietnamese businesses to explore cooperation and investment opportunities, especially developing processing and export technology.<\/p>\n
