10 major markets all increased<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In a detailed analysis from recently published statistical data, the General Department of Customs reported that, in the first 2 months of the year, the turnover export<\/a> of Vietnam to the 10 largest markets all grew, some markets even increased very high compared to the same period last year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Typically: the United States, reaching 16.81 billion USD, increasing to 29.2% (equivalent to an increase of 3.8 billion USD) compared to the same period last year. With this result, the US market makes the largest contribution to Vietnam's export turnover growth. This is also the highest growth turnover in this market compared to the same period ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EU is the market block with the second largest contribution to the growth of our country's export turnover, surpassing both China and ASEAN. In the first 2 months of the year, exports to the EU reached 9.03 billion USD, an increase of 17.9% (equivalent to an increase of 1.37 billion USD compared to the same period last year).<\/span><\/p>\n

Vietnam's exports to China reached 7.96 billion USD, an increase of 7.8% (equivalent to an increase of 0.58 billion USD); Exports to ASEAN reached 6.14 billion USD, an increase of 14.7% (equivalent to an increase of 0.79 billion USD)...<\/span><\/p>\n

Computers regained the number 1 position in exports<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of each industry, the first 2 months of the year also recorded high turnover in many key industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among them, computers, electronic products and components have regained the No. 1 position in exports (from the phone and components group). In the first 2 months of the year, export of computers, electronic products and components reached 9.99 billion USD, accounting for 17% of the country's total export turnover and an increase of 40.2% compared to the same period in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Export of computers, electronic products and components mainly to markets such as: United States with 3.24 billion USD, an increase of 47.4%; China with 1.64 billion USD, an increase of 53.9%; Hong Kong (China) with 1.1 billion USD, up 82.8%; Korea with 1.08 billion USD, an increase of 19.6%\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Phones of all types and components reached 9.51 billion USD, an increase of 3.4% (equivalent to an increase of 309 million USD compared to the same period last year). Vietnam exports this group of goods to key markets such as the United States with 2.31 billion USD, an increase of 42%; China is 1.46 billion USD, down 43% and EU is 1.44 billion USD, down 4%...<\/span><\/p>\n

Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts continued to maintain third place with 6.98 billion USD, an increase of 10.9% over the same period last year. Main export markets include: United States with 6.7 billion USD, up 6.8%; EU with 1 billion USD, an increase of 2.4%; ASEAN with 476 million USD, an increase of 6.9%; Korea with 476 million USD, an increase of 13.1%\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Textile and garment had a strong recovery with turnover reaching 5.16 billion USD, an increase of 13.4% (equivalent to an increase of 608 million USD) compared to the same period last year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Textile and garment exports increased in all four main markets: the United States and Japan; EU and Korea. Specifically, exports to the United States were 2.19 billion USD, an increase of 12%; Japan is 630 million USD, an increase of 17.6%; EU is 552 million USD, an increase of 8.2%; Korea with 515 million USD, an increase of 8.2%\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Statistical data of the General Department of Customs also records strong growth in turnover in billion-dollar export commodity groups such as: footwear; wood and wood products; Transport vehicles and spare parts; cameras, camcorders and accessories; Seafood; iron and Steel\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
