Entry procedure steps 2024<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Quarantine Procedures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 For visitors from epidemic areas entering Vietnam (if any) come to the Quarantine Counter to perform medical quarantine. After completing the medical quarantine, the guest entry<\/a> move to Step 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Quarantine animals and plants for passengers entering the country carrying goods in carry-on or checked luggage that are subject to quarantine according to Vietnamese law (if any), then move to Step 2 .<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Visitors from places without epidemics entering Vietnam (not subject to medical quarantine) and do not have goods subject to animal or plant quarantine come to the Border Gate Police Counter to perform Step 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Border security procedures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Guests entering the country present their passport, declare the location and duration of temporary stay in Vietnam to the airport border police force for inspection, visa stamp or visa issuance on the spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 After completing this Step, visitors move to Step 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Customs procedures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.1. After having the visa stamped, guests entry<\/a> Pick up checked baggage at the airport conveyor belt (if any), choose your own entry channel (green or red door) and fill out the customs declaration (if any), specifically:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) In case of choosing green door:<\/span><\/p>\n

Passengers entering the country do not have to declare and fill out customs declarations, but can carry their luggage through the green door straight to Step 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

b) In case of choosing red door:<\/span><\/p>\n

Guests entering the country must declare a customs declaration. After completing the customs declaration, guests entering the country move to Point 3.2 of this Step.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.2. Passengers take their luggage from the conveyor belt to the luggage screening area of the Customs force (Imported Luggage Procedures Team, under the International Airport Border Gate Customs Branch). The Customs force will collect taxes (if any); Make a record of violations (search people when necessary) and handle violations if violations are detected.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4.<\/strong>\u00a0After completing Step 3, passengers entering the country go through the checkpoint of the security and order force to control luggage (if any) and exit the airport to enter the country.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
