Regulations on bringing cash and foreign currency when leaving the country<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

- Individual when leaving the country<\/a> Through Vietnam's international border gates with a passport, carrying foreign currency, cash, and Vietnamese Dong in cash above the prescribed level below must be declared at border customs:<\/span><\/p>\n

+ 5,000 USD or other foreign currencies of equivalent value;<\/span><\/p>\n

+ 15,000,000 VND.<\/span><\/p>\n

The level of foreign currency cash and Vietnamese Dong in cash required to be declared at border customs does not apply to individuals carrying payment instruments and valuable papers in foreign currency or Vietnamese Dong such as checks. travel, bank cards, savings books, securities and other valuable papers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 In case an individual exits the country carrying foreign currency in cash or Vietnamese Dong in cash in excess of the above-mentioned limit or in excess of the amount brought in that was declared to Border Gate Customs when last entering the country, it must be presented to the Customs. gate:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 In case an individual exits the country carrying foreign currency in cash or Vietnamese Dong in cash in excess of the above prescribed limit, but not exceeding the amount brought in, they must present to the border gate customs the entry-exit declaration with Confirmation from border gate customs on the amount of foreign currency in cash and Vietnamese Dong in cash brought in when last entering the country, no confirmation from an authorized credit institution is required.<\/span><\/p>\n
