REGULATIONS ON NOT APPLICATION OF TARIFF QUASKS ON SUGAR IMPORTS ORIGIN FROM ASEAN COUNTRIES<\/p>\n

Ca<\/em>n Pursuant to Decree No<\/em>\u00a098\/201<\/em>7\/ND-CP dated August 18, 2017 of Chi<\/em>The government regulates functions<\/em>ng, tasks, powers and structure<\/em>tumor<\/em>\u00a0Yes<\/em>c of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;<\/em><\/p>\n

Implement the commitment to completely eliminate tariff quotas under the Goods Trade Agreement<\/em>a ASEAN;<\/em><\/p>\n

Implement Resolution No. 130\/NQ-CP<\/em>y 17 months<\/em>October 2018 by Chi<\/em>Government on the temporary suspension of implementation of Article\u00a0<\/em>20 ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATI<\/em>GA);<\/em><\/p>\n

At the request of the Director of the Import-Export Department,<\/em><\/p>\n

The Minister of Industry and Trade issued a Circular stipulating the non-application of d<\/em>use tariff quotas to import sugar originating from ASEAN countries.<\/em><\/p>\n

Article 1. General regulations<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Import tariff quotas are not applied to sugar products (HS code 1701) originating from ASEAN countries according to current law.<\/li>\n
  2. The amount of sugar imported from ASEAN countries is not included in the annual tariff quota announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade according to the commitments of the World Trade Organization (WTO) applied to WTO countries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Article 2. Regulation of import tax rates<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Tax rates for importing sugar products originating from ASEAN countries comply with Government regulations.<\/p>\n

    Article 3. Implementation effect<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2020.\/.<\/p>\n
